we need to simplify the given expression [tex] (\frac{3x^-1}{4y^-1} )^-2 [/tex].

we know that [tex] (\frac{a^p}{b^q} )^n=\frac{a^pn}{b^qn} [/tex].

so here a and b is 3x and 4y .

p and q is -1.

where n is -2 .

so [tex] (\frac{3x^-1}{4y^-1} )^-2=\frac{3x^2}{4y^2} [/tex].

we have simplified the following expression.
