A runner runs four laps on the track in 8 minutes. If he keeps the same pace, how long will it take him to run 12 laps?

if he runs 4 laps in 8 minutes that means he runs 1 lap in 2 minutes. to run 12 laps its going to take 24 minutes. i got this by dividing 8 by 4. then multiply 12 by 2
