Solution

[tex](\frac{1}{4} )^{-2} - 5^{0.2} .1^{-1}[/tex]

Using the exponents rule, we get

[tex]4^{2} - 1.38 . 1[/tex]

= 16 - 1.38

= 14.62

The answer is 14.62
