Answer:

They are arranged like that because after mixing two prime colors the product would have to fall in the middle of the two. E.g. blue and yellow creates green. The mixture can vary in darkness and name.

Answer: I'm guessing to make it look better or as an ombre. If it weren't like the way it was it would look jumbled and put together last second.
