What is the slope of the line passing through the points (-1,-7) and (-9, -2) ?​

The equation for slope is:
(y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

-2 -(-7) = 5
-9 -(-1) = -8

Slope of the line:

5/-8 or -5/8
