How do you find the slope of 5,-7 and -7,1

Use the slope formula:
m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

Plug in the values into the equation:
m = (1 + 7)/(-7 - 5)
m = 8/(-12)
m = -(2/3)

The slope is -2/3
