Slope = Change in y/ Change in x.

8 = (13 - -5) / (3 - r)

8 = 18/(3 -r)

3 - r = 18/8

3 - r = 9/4

3  - 9/4 = r

3 - 2 and 1/4 = r

3/4 = r

r = 3/4   B.
