The slope of the given line is -3/4.

Any line perpendicular to this one will have slope -1/(-3/4) = 4/3.

Use the given point and the point-slope formula to get the equation of the particular line:

y - (-1) = 4/3 * (x - 0)

y + 1 = 4x/3

y = 4x/3 - 1
