The area of a pool is 256π ft2. Find the distance around the pool in terms of pi.?

distance around the pool = circumference of pool

area = pi(r^2)
circumference = pi(d)

radius = sq root (256pi/pi)
= sq root (256)
= 16
diamater = 16 x 2
= 32
hence,
circumference = pi x 32
= 32pi
