Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = x + 3/ 2

For a

f(2) = 2 + 3 / 2

= ( 4 + 3 ) /2

= 7/2

For b

f(x) = x + 3/2

f^-1(x) = ?

Let y = f(x)

y = x + 3/2

Interchanging the roles of x and y we get,

x = y + 3 / 2

y = x - 3 / 2

Therefore f^-1(x) = x - 3 / 2

For c)

f ^ -1(12) = 12 - 3 / 2

= (24 - 3) / 2

= 21 / 2

Hope it will help :)
