Write the linear equation in slope-intercept form.
2x+y=17
5x-y=1/4
-1/2x+y=10

#1. Subtract 2x from both sides --> y = -2x+17 
#2. a) subtract 5x from both sides --> -y = -5x+1/4
      b) divide by -1 --> y = 5x-1/4
#3. Add 1/2x to each side --> y = 1/2x+10
