Answer: Push in history meaning pushing people away from their home, while pulling is pulling new people in, for the new citizens.

Explanation: Living conditions for a push and pull factor would be bringing in new stores, new parks, (tourist attractions) this would push away citizens who value having a secluded spot to live in
