Hello,

We have A(3, 5) and B(5, 6)

[tex]m=\frac{y_{B}-y_{A}}{x_{B}-x_{A}} =\frac{6-5}{5-3} =\frac{1}{2}[/tex]

We know the line contain the point (3, 5)

    y = 1/2x + b

⇔ 5 = 1/2 × 3 + b

⇔ 5 = 3/2 + b

⇔ 5 - 3/2 = b

⇔ b = 10/2 - 3/2

⇔ b = (10 - 3)/2

⇔ b = 7/2

[tex]\boxed{y = \frac{1}{2}x + \frac{7}{2} }[/tex]
