To find the percent increase get the difference of the two numbers 13.5 - 12.50 = 1
 Then divide the difference by the original amount 12.50 = 1/12.50 = .08  Next turn .08 into a percent by multiplying .08 by 100 .08 x 100= 8 = 8 % increase

Answer: 8%
