Ford wanted his automobile’s to be used by ordinary people. Yet some were still unable to afford the car. Considering the status of these people, Ford made his cars affordable to all. This action drew more people to work for him. This step eventually strengthened the Progressive Era and also made a way for Ford to embrace progressive ideas.
