A rectangular garden is 6 ft longer than it is wide. its area is 616 ft2. what are its dimensions?

A stands for Area, L stands for Length, W stands for Width, P stands for Perimeter.

A = 616 ft2

L = 6 + W

W = L - 6

P = L + L + W + W

The answers:

L = 28 ft

W = 22 ft

P = 100 ft
