If the area of the triangular kite is 24 square ft and its base is 4 feet, find the height of the kite.

Area of a triangle is   A = (1/2) (b) (h).  Here we are given A and b and need to find h.

A = 24 ft^2 = (1/2) (4 ft) (height)

24 = 2(height)          =>          height is 12 ft            (answer)
